After excelling in his Piano and Music Theory studies at school Chris went on to study at the renowned Gateway School of Music Recording, obtaining a merit in his Diploma in the summer of 1995. At the end of 1995 he joined the team that was to become Metro. Metro have been behind many hits including Cher's multi platinum award winning track 'Believe'. Chris' early career saw him cutting his teeth in production and songwriting skills by studying and assisting many Metro projects including Lionel Richie, Tina Turner, Hall and Oates and Ricky Martin.

During this period Chris played and programmed on many recordings, but most notably, by artists such as Cher, Enrique Iglesias, Belinda Carlisle and A1. Of these recordings 'Bailamos' - Enrique Iglesias and 'I'll Be Your Everything' -Youngstown, also featured on the soundtracks of the Movies 'Wild Wild West' and 'Inspector Gadget' respectively

As a songwriter Chris has also co-written with many accomplished writers and artists including Steve Lee, Ray St John, John Reid, Paul Barry, Nik Kershaw, Lemar and Kylie

In 2001 Chris became one of the first recipients of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters - 'Universal' Chart Newcomers Award.

Chris has had success with many of his songs especially in Europe, and his early understudying at Metro paid off in 2002 when he co-wrote and produced the debut single ‘Atrevete’ for Spanish 'Pop Idol' (Operacion Triunfo) finalist Chenoa. Which was the number '1' airplay record in Spain during the early summer of that year, helping to push the sales of the album to multi-platinum status. In 2003 Chris’ song ‘Siempre Mañana’ was recorded by the winner of French 'Pop Idol' Jonatan Cerrada.

In recent times Chris has been setting up independently, spending his time working between London and the Dorset/Devon border where he has built his own recording studio in the World Heritage Jurassic Coast area of Lyme Regis. He is currently working on new material and projects, and conducting a talent search to find promising talent to develop. As well as providing production and musician services for various outside projects. 2006/2007 also sees Chris working with new companies Crosstown Songs (who now publish part of Chris' song catalogue) and 2.0 Music.
